Based in Northern Ohio, I shoot a variety of sporting events as a freelance sports photojournalist. I represent college programs including Butler University, Valporaiso University, Loyola University, University of South Florida, University of Cincinnati, The Ohio State University, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wichita State University, and the Horizon League. In addition, I had the honor of shooting the 2009 Big East Championship Football game at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I also specialize in shooting high schools sporting events.
As a dentist, I have changed the lives of many of my patients. I have photographed these dramatic aesthetic changes for the last 20 years. I took this passion of photography to the next level by sharing my knowledge of macro and portraiture photography to dentists all over the globe through lecturing and print media. I started working with the Kodak Corporation to help incorporate their digital cameras into dental practices. I provided data and feedback to them for their current digital cameras used in dentistry all over the world. In addition, I have worked with Skuza Motors, Benco Dental, Dental Ceramics, The Center for Exceptional Practices, and the Strata Granite Company. I have had the pleasure of lecturing to dentists from all over the country on the subject of photography.
I have had many articles published in Dental Journals on the subjects of portrait and macro photography. My first book was published in 2009- A Photography Manual for Dental Personnel.
As I continue this endevear today, I have discovered other phases of photography that I am passionate about. These include action sports events and landscapes. I have been freelancing for the last several years and I am available for assignment work.
